Hi Shulamit,
Please tell us all how you do it??? I tried it before but the only =
program I
found (the one that comes with Microsoft) allows you to record only 1 =
minute
of audio. Did you download a free program??
I too believe that CD's are much better than tape, the kids found it =
hard to
come up with tape players for the exam (walkman, they asked, who uses
those???).

I usually read what is asked but don't react. This time the complaint =
about=20
the enormous task of taping so many copies for the Matkonet caught me in =
a=20
very similar position. What is worse, I have just learned how to tape =
and=20
copy material on the computer- on CDs. It takes only a fraction of the =
time=20
it takes to do it on a regular tape. It is also more manageable and=20
editable. Moreover, the kids nowadays more often have disc players than=20
taperecorders, so they would rather use those. The problem is that if =
they=20
use CDs which I now know how to prepare for them, but they get tapes at =
the=20
final exams, they will find them difficult to work with because they =
have=20
not practised using them during the schoolyear. Can the ministry of=20
education readjust its recording method to suit the 21st century, or is =
it=20
too much to ask? It would not cost more if the tapes were replaced by =
CDs,=20
would it?
