Friends: The EMAS listserve has been late in sending out messages recently.
One possible problem is the size of pictures we are posting. As you know, I am
one of the main offenders. Two people are looking into the problem and hope it
can be corrected.

Until it is corrected, I recommend that photographers post only small pictures
to the EMAS listserve. By small, I mean less than 100 Kb and probably only one
picture. We may find out that there was another problem, but until then, we
need to keep the listserve functioning. Especially with Spring coming, we need
to know what birds are being sighted. I hope we can solve this with voluntary
cooperation. The CBC listserve does not allow pictures, but they have a webpage
where members can post their pictures. We may have to do something similar. But
that may take some planning and some financial support.
