I have enjoyed reading the posts. Love the pictures of your car.
I joined the list with hopes of buying and restoring an El Camano, but it
didn't work out.
Could you let me know how to unsubscribe?
I hate to leave but with the economy I don't think an El Camano is in my
future now.

very best Coupe/Pickup going)m where are you? I might want to buy it from
you. I'm in Utah, zip 84123. Since you're sorry that you own it, you
probably don't want very much for it and I could handle that since I had to
sell my very nice Choo-Choo SS (made with the last Choo-Choo customs body
kit sold as a unit)
and I wouldn't mind building another one. Got pictures of it? How's it
equipped?
As far as out off-topic chatter...well, we're like a family here. And since
you chose not to introduce yourself to the other family members, being
ignored is somewhat to be expected. We're not mind-readers here....although
my soon-to-be ex-wife (the topic of many of the posts) claimed to know what
I was thinking all the time. Unfortunately for her, she missed the boat on
this one and it may cost her some jail time. My beart bleeds. profusely for
her.
So you see, it's possible to deal with Elky issues AND be a family and share
our ups and downs with one another.
Now I'm the list founder and administrator. Probably not the guy you should
have done your best to piss off, but I have other things to be pissed off
about, so I'll let this one slide.
However, I'll challenge you: Ask us a question about El Caminos that we
can't answer...at least to the factory or aftermarket level, and I'll send
you a nice new picture of Andrew Jackson. On the other hand, introduce
yourself, your Elky (photo would be nice) and if we can answer your
question, all I'll ask of you is a polite apology and and promise to vote
for the Mormon princess, Mitt Romney and all will be forgiven. How's that?
What do you have to lose?
Btw, here's my current Elky:
Yeah...it had a blue Oval on the Grill shell, but JC was kind enough to make
me one hell of a masterpiece with a Rat Fink on it, so it's now a 1929 Fink.
Don't need no Steeking Fords around here.
Matter of fact, tell me the number of main bearings in Rufus' motor and ya
get the Hamilton, anyway. No help from the peanut gallery, please.
It's been nice chatting with you, even if the conversation's been a little
one-sided. Hope to hear from you soon.

Honestly, you should see how fast the part numbers and help come flying out
if you ask for help. Hell, we are starving for Elky content, but we have all
gone over quite a bit over the years.
Like Ray said... Introduce yourself, let us know what you are working
on/need, and you will find out fast there is a lot of help here.
Hope it's not too little too late.
