oh. sheesh I just got done finding out the thing we need for the grill is a 'flame tamer' (?) and the part for the blazer is a 'wiper switch cruise control wiper and windshield washer fluid switch'. It's the thing sticking out of the column. If you call it an arm you get the thing on the windshield. Call it a switch and you get a box with wires coming out.
so do you think we could put a name on this sucker? I'm afraid you are going to end up fabricating one. Mary
Nope, the bracket that the gear selector lever pivots on. THis is bolted tothe brake propotioning valve on the frame. The shifter rod just uses it's little 'cup' with a plastic busghing to piivot on. The spring keeps the assembly from popping out of the bracket (that I am looking for).Thanks, JC
