Anything is possable. There is a window and a door off to the left of the fireplace, so it is a walk-out. Ours is original 1972ish built in double oven, separate range top/burners and counter top microwave. To redo the double ovens will cost over $2000 extra and in our house/ price point- a built in double oven is somewhat of an extravagance. The nice part about Franks setup is that its easy to change/replace and space efficient. I like it Frank, well done. It looks lik that basement fireplace is screaming for a finished bsmt family room home theater area. The fireplace is lonely down there.
