Did you Delete the EdSharp data folder or program folder? The data folder is probably the one causing the problem. For example, on my Windows 10 computer, the data folder is at the following location:

c:\users\Jamal Mazrui\AppData\Roaming\EdSharp

So indeed I deleted the folder then reinstalled the program into that original folder with the same result. This is Windows 10 anniversary edition. The message copied to the clipboard follows in case it is useful, which it isn’t to me:

I hadn't heard of this one but try deleting the EdSharp data folder before reinstalling. The exact path differs depending on the Windows version. It is the folder where EdSharp.ini is stored.

Hello.  I was trying to edit edsharp.ini externally to get
keyboard shortcuts the way I wanted them. I somehow made the
program inoperable, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it.  It is
still unusable, crashes whenever I try to run it.  It is installed
into a fresh folder and I obviously haven’t touched the .ini
file.  The executable I’m running is dated 2/22/2016.  I can’t see
why a reinstall into a fresh folder wouldn’t restore the program
to usefulness.  Can anybody offer a way back to a working EdSharp?

    Thanks.
