So indeed I deleted the folder then reinstalled the program into that
original folder with the same result. This is Windows 10 anniversary

I hadn't heard of this one but try deleting the EdSharp data folder before
reinstalling. The exact path differs depending on the Windows version. It
is the folder where EdSharp.ini is stored.
