I'm not running JAWS 10, but I have had similar issues. One of the things I try that I haven't seen listed yet, is to alt-f3 to turn the codes on and off a couple of times. Almost always fixes the problem.

I've had the same problem on occasion but not consistently. And I can't pinpoint when it will happen--I mean, I can't pinpoint a particular style or anything like that. Sometimes, the document will somehow straighten itself out but most often, I shut everything down and start over.Deb B. -----Original Message-----From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Foxworth,AnnSent: Monday, August 17, 2009 4:12 PM To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: darsassistivetechnology@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] jaws 10 and duxburyI have noticed that working in a new Duxbury document, into which I wrote some names and phone numbers, JAWS would stop reading the text and just report blank lines. I maximized the screen, set the view to full page, refreshed the screen, all to no avail. Next, I pasted from Duxbury into an email message, this same document's text, and JAWS behaved in the same manner. If I arrowed down through line by line, JAWS would start announcing blank lines. If I went to the end of the text then arrowed up, some of the text was there again, but not in a consistent way. It was very weird.ANN FOXWORTH, BRAILLE CONSULTANT
