Do you mean to save the scanned file in Kurzweil as a brf file? That may not be the best approach because Kurzweil 1000 may not have all the braille feature compatible to Duxbury. So, I would recommend to save your scanned document file with in Kurzweil as a word document and import that file in Duxbury. Also it would be a lot easier for you to do any document formatting in a word document.
