You can download direct from NLS WebBraille into Kurzweil 1000 (if you're a qualified library member and have been given a password). I'm sure this is by mutual agreement between NLS and KESI. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terri Pannett" <pann1@xxxxxxxxx> To: <duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 10:58 PM Subject: [duxuser] Re: Reverse Translation? Well, if you have an embosser, you can emboss the books. Nls makes it clear that to use the books on their web site you must have either a braille display or a notetaker. I Don't think they would approve of backtranslating their braille books. I would suggest you seriously consider buying a BrailleNote or braille display. Being able to take the Bible and other braille books with me in my BN has revolutionized my life. I would go crazy if I had to use Duxbury with speech! Duxbury is my main word processor and it's nice being able to translate a document and read it using DBT. Terri, Amateur radio call sign KF6CA.
