Margo, about a year and a half ago, I got a mini that came with his own
harness, which happened to be a full collar harness. I decided to try the
collar on some of the other minis, and was surprised to discover that they were
much happier in the full collar than breast collar harness. So last year when
I got a pair harness, I went ahead and ordered it with hames. The minis seem
to like to go in pairs, it gives them company, and it is a good way to teach a
new mini to drive. I have 12" and 14" collars, and they fit most everybody.
I can't help you with a carriage, I just have a Frontier easy entry with a
pole, and it works fine for me, but I have heard that a 2 wheeler with a pole
is not as stable as a 4 wheeler.
