Yup, VBScript adds in a bunch of external dependencies (including
oleaut32.dll), to the tune of roughly 1 MB of memory.

Note that the AudioVBScript language is entirely expandable. I believe
there was a game that demonstrated of this, including sample code, at
the 2001 GDC. Check out the proceedings archives...

        What are the reasons for using Audio Script over VB script?
Audio script doesn't have a lot of really useful things (arrays, being
able to pass variables in function calls without making them global,
etc).=3D20
        Is it just a memory footprint thing, or are there other issues?
