No, not at all.  That's the great thing about it.  You have to know how to use 
HSC however, you 
don't have to know how to write Jaws scripts at all.  For example, you can run 
a wizard when setting 
up HSC spots.  Or, if you can find out the X and Y coordinates on screen for a 
particular button 
with your Jaws cursor then, you can type that information into edit fields in 
HSC, and ty it to a 
keystroke.  So, setting up clickable buttons for a plug-in, can be really quick.
