MessageChi:
Does the motherboard on your system have sound integrated on it? If it does,
you should pull out the audigy and get an m-audio delta card (the audiophile
2496 will do just fine for you and only costs around $100).

Ok, thanks for the help there. I do have audio selected, but I am not
running two sound cards at this time. I have an Oddygey 2 now, what sound card
would you reccomend I get for the music/delta card?
    Much thanks,
    Che

    Hi,

    See http://www.dancingdots.com/ctfaq.htm

Press the letter H until you hear:
. Q: Is it possible to run JFW through my soundcard on my computer while
running my music through my external sound card?

Listen to that answer and make sure that you have set up your system that
way. It may be that JAWS is competing for your high-end soundcard. You do
have 2 soundcards, right?

Also, set up to load JAWS with a hotkey like ALT+CONTROL+J. Then, while
SONAR is running, press INSERT+F4 to unload JAWS. Then ALT+CONTROL+J to
restart it. Anything improve?

    Bill

Do you know that there definitely is audio in the selected region?

        Hi all,
I am following the tutorial for scrubbing audio in the clip view for
cakeTalking, but I am getting nothing. I select an in and out point, then go
to clip mode, hit f6, then lock the cursor with insert slash, but when I do
insert numpad whatever, I am getting nothing. According to the tutorial, this
is the correct procedure.
        ANy ideas?
I am using jaws 6.20 if it helps.

        Thanks much,
        Che
