Hi, George,

I cannot imagine what JAWS is trying to tell you. Try slowing the JAWS
speech way down to see if you can catch exactly what is being said. To
temporarily slow down JAWS, hold down CONTROL+ALT+PAGE DOWN keys. JAWS
should say "Slower". Same combination but with PAGE up instead makes JAWS
talk faster. Again, these are temporary settings.

Subject: [ddots-l] recording question

I have a track that is recorded. When I red the current line, Jaws reports,
track is recorded in quick proof". That at least is what I think it's
saying. It could be "quit proof." I have no idea what I did to give the
track this characteristic, let alone no how to fix or undo this. Can anyone
shed some light on this? By the way, it doesn't seem to be affecting
anything.

Thanks.

George
