Hmmm interesting... Didn't think about that... Well, what if I saved it as a left and right channel... Wonder how that would say? Would it be the same performance as the stereo track would be accept it would be in two mono tracks? Looks like the filtering might be the way to go... Interesting... Thanks for the insight Chris. I've never tryed experimenting with things like this before but anyway...

I don't use Ivory or MIDI that often, but it sounds like you ar easking two things. 1. how to save left and right channels from your stereo file as separate tracks, which you can do in the export audio dialog. and, it sounds like you are trying to also save two piano parts, one for each hand.

Could you split your piano track in two by filtering everything above or below a certain note? If the lowest note your right-hand played was 4th octave C, for example, could you filter everything below that and copy it somewhere?
