Alex, you should try to read as much as you can.
CT comes with a comprehensive set of tutorials which you should read. You
should also read the help that comes with Sonar itself.
A very good website for beginners is
http://www.tweakheadz.com/guide.htm
This will teach you most of what you should know about music technology which
the more specific manuals on Sonar and CT wont teach you.

Hi all,
Have just got sonar 5 producer edition installed and am getting cake talking
this week. so am wondering what kind of help is out there for the total
beginner. am using the lexicon lamda as my audio and midi interface and high
end sound card and am also hoping to use my gt5/6 processors for my guitar
sounds. sure you all know where I am at and am looking for anyone who can help
steer me in the right direction cheers
