But I can still bounce the midi track into the original audio track that
feeds it? For example, if my soft synth is on midi track 17, and the
audio track that feeds it is audio track 16, can I bounce midk track 17
with the soft synth into audio track 16?

the way i do it is just select both the midi track and the audio track
then select edit from the file menu and bounce to track , and from the
dialog select new track.
this way you can save the original tracks for future use if you want to
edit the midi track at a later time.
it does not matter where the two original tracks are.

Hi All:

I'm converting midi tracks into audio, and i just bounced a soft synth
midi track to its audio track source. The audio track that feeds the
midi track with the soft synth in it is above that midi track. Does it
matter if the audio track feeding the soft synth midi track is above it
or below it?

Thanks.
