If you have your softsynthe tracks archived then, you may well find that Sonar
won't use the audio clock as there is no need.

I just checked it out and my soft synths play when I play my key board, but
when I hit play the project doesn't play. What do you think that means? Oh and
I don't know if this will help, but I converted all my soft synths to audio
tracks. Then I archived all the tracks with soft synths. Maybe that's why the
clock kept changing back to audio.
