hmmm ok so your saying that when recording guitar and stuff not to adjust the volume at all on the track itself? Just leave it at 0? And just adjust volume from the hardware? and where do i find the trim fader? On 1/15/09, Phil Muir <ddots@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:If you want to keep your metres at minus 6 when recording instruments such as electric guitar, acoustic guitars vocals etc then, you would do this on the gain in your hardware. Obviously you don't need to worry about having levels on metres at minus 6 with softsynthes as they are already recorded.meaning that when you record MIDI on them, your just triggering samples. The trim control which is on a audio track in the track view and concel view in Sonar is a pree affects gain and like the volume fader, is only used fortracking and not recording. I need to keep my meaters at about negative 06 for this project. Is that a standard place to keep your meters? thanks PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
