If you want to set it up as soft synth, you can either 
A: Insert it into the effects bin, create a new midi track, set its output
to the autoTune, or 
B. In the plug-in properties for the plug-in, tell sonar to configure it as
a soft synth; it'll show up in the soft synths list. You need cakewalk's
plug-in manager found in tools to do this.

I know it can accept midi data, but that's not what I'm trying to do.
