Or it could be stereo mix...
Voleum controll should turn it off, check the mike option in recording controll.

    Need help again, please? When I record into the audio track I just
    created in a previously all midi project, all the Motif Sounds are
    being recorded on to that vocal track. My input for that track is
    m-lan A C O
    stereo m-lan 0 1, and the output is to bus 2 which I just created.
    I looked up an old project which appears to be configured the
    same, and those vocal tracks are not playing synth parts. I also
    have things routed through an old Mackie mixer, which could also
    be somehow misconfigured.I am looking at the manual and not
    finding what I need, so any suggestions would again be much
    appreciated.
