Hello Christie,
You need to spend some time, in fact a lot of time reading the manual. The
manual is your best friend and will be for the next 6 to 8 months.

When I started using cake talking I knew nothing about recording music with a
computer, but 6 to 8 months later I was writing recording and producing music
using cake talking, cakewalk sonar, and my computer. I felt just as lost as you
do. Don't give up I promise you it will get better.
