the reference manual tells all of that! when you have the reference manual up on your computer, press the number 1 button until you hear the words Pattern mode, then press the number 2 button until you here F6/Pattern Chain mode or something like that, then just start reading that section, it will tell all about it! You can do your pattern changes in 2 different ways, 1. record your section changes in real time or 2. list your section changes in the Pattern/F6 button/Edit button mode! either way, it will do the same thing, which is chain all your pattern sections together!

What Da Hzzy! Hope that helps! Holla!

Subject: [ddots-l] Motif Help

Hi Guys
Does the reference document created by Bryan Smart tell about the pattern chain mode and how to chain the patterns together as well as create each Pattern (pattern a , pattern b, etc.)?

Also, I want to purchase a smart media card for my motif, what size is recommended and what is the technical term for this external memory or would it be called "smart media"?
