Omar, the Mackie is supposed to be very good. Hard to say whether you would
achieve better results with that over the Delta. Unless, the preamps that you
have attached to your delta aren't as good as the Mackie ones or, the digital
converters in the Macki, are better than the Delta's.

Subject: [ddots-l] Mackie Onyx with Firewire

  Hi Everyone:

A salesmen at Guitar Center recommended that I use a Mackie Onyx, which is
one of their higher end mixers with a firewire card. He says the firewire card
can become replacement for the delta 44 soundcard that i'm currently using. He
says that I'll get much better quality when converting to digital with the
firewire card that comes with the onyx mixer. So I wanted to get some feedback
from you guys before I made a decision on this.

  Thanks.
