Hi, isn't the keyboard shortcut for selecting with CT ctrl+enter? Or is that
what you meant?
To select with the comma key, you can use shift plus comma or ctrl+comma for
multiple track selection, if ct didn't change that default sonar behaviour.

Subject: [ddots-l] Inquiry: CT selection issues

Hello List,

Recently someone posted about how they were having issues opening/closing
the clips pane. Along with that they mentioned having issues with
selection. They later posted that said issues got resolved. To whomever
was talking about this particular issue, how did you manage to solve the
selection problems?

I too am having selection issues. I can select any or all tracks with
alt+enter from start to end. However, when selecting a portion of a track
by setting from/through times and using ctrl+enter, CT will report that the
portion was selected. But when I double check the status, it turns out that
start to end was selected, and not the portion I'd set. The "Select by time
dialogue" fails to work also, which is rather odd. If I attempt to use it
for a selection, nothing at all gets selected. Will it hurt to find and try
to install the patches even though Sonar reports that I'm running 8.5.3? I
have a workaround for this issue... I can use the comma hotkey to select one
track at a time, but this is a bit tedious when trying to select more than
one track at a time for editing purposes.

Before anyone asks, I've double checked my windows settings and they are all
correct, save for the resolution which currently stands at 1280 by 768.
From an earlier post of Brian's, it appears that the resolution will work
out just fine so long as the bottom number of the resolution is at 768.

Before Sonar 8.5.3, I had installed Sonar 7, which I ended up removing
completely before installing 8.5.3. I'm using JAWS 10 and Windows Vista 64
bit. I installed the 64 bit version of Sonar. Everything except selection
is working flawlessly. I would attempt to re-install CT but the person who
posted about this earlier said that it didn't solve the problem. Any
suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for reading!

Most Sincerely,

Bobbi
