I have a Tascam FW1884 control surface here. It has a sound card built into it and a 4 port MIDI interface. I love it. It has 9 motorised faders. We have created a document about all of it's functions. This will save you having to download the manual and troll through all of that documentation. You will find the FW1884 document over on:

Hi folks
OK, it's now time for me to move to a dedicated sound card for my recordings as my internal one just isn't cutting the mustard and makes a heck of a lot of noise.
So, I need something that will take a mic through XLR jacks, my Tyros through regular quarter inch jacks and eventually I'll need to plug bass and guitars in too.
I want to avoid using a mixer as space is at a premium right now, so a sound card that will let me plug it all in would be the most appropriate. 

Any recommendations and recommended dealers would be most welcome.
