I have a question for those who are doing this successfully.
What's your bit and sample rate at the time you push the track from
Sonar to Soundforge through the Sonar tools menu?
I record and edit / mix at 24 by 96 and I have never been able to get
the track to SoundForge without a bit sample rate mismatch error. It's
because there's a default setting in SoundForge that is 16 by 44.1.
There is no way to change that as far as I can tell when going through
the appropriate menus in SoundForge.
I contacted SoundForge support about this years ago. They never really
understood the question and did not answer it.
By the way, I have exactly the same versions as you do Tim.

forge, and opens the audio file. Sonar reimports the audio upon
closing Sound Forge, once you're done editing.
