Hello, I just wanted to thank everybody that helped with my sound Forge issue
today. I got everything working, and that I'm able to do what I need to. Again
thanks much. Tim

Mike and all, the issue has been fixed. When I prepared Tim's laptop (a few
years ago), I had configured the registry entries to use sound forge 11, but
he ended up using 10. Once he fixed the paths everything started working as
expected.
For those who are wondering, if you add the required entries to the registry
in the correct place, SONAR 64 can use sound forge just like sonar 32 can.
HTH, DJX

soundforge
Hi Tim, unless any one list can figure what the problem, is I had the same
issue when using the tools menu and exporting in to sound forge. It seems
that for some strange reason SoundForge can't import the edit becuase of
sample/ and or bit compression.
Have you tried what Judy suggested which is to ensure the correct sampling
rate, and bit rate?
If this doesn't work, then I am at a loss as I had the same issue which is
why I use the export method.
Cheers.

Hello,
I select the track in Sonar that I want to edit in SF, I go to tools and
select Sound Forge Pro. It appears as though SF is going to work, but it's
at this point I get the "cannot create process" message. I select Ok, and
I'm back in Sonar.
I made sure that the audio device was the same in both Sonar and in SF.
I know that the export to a wave works fine, but it requires a bit more work
and time when there are several tracks I'm trying to make small edits on.
Any help is appreciated.
Tim

HI tim, what are the exact steps you take to do this process?
Are you exporting the file as a wave, or are you trying to take the audio
material and paste it in to SF?
Let us know.

Hi list,
I am using Sonar 8.5.3 64 bit and SF 10, which is 32 bit.
I'm trying to get an audio track in to SF from Sonar so that I can do some
edits on the track. It looks as though the import is working, but I get a
"cannot create process" message.
Does anyone know what I might do to resolve this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Tim
