Windows7 by default uses a 32bit version of IE, the 64bit version is labeled
so "Internet Explorer (64bit)". So any time you click on "Internet Explorer,"
you are in esense running the 32bit version, when you click the one with
(64bit) in the title, then obviously you are running 64bit IE. The reason for
this is that many plugIns that work under 32bit IE are not available or might
not work at all under 64bit IE, so Microsoft included them both. IE64 runs much
faster than 32bit counterpart IMO. There are plugs like flash and such which
are in beta development, but which are still useful...
  You don't have and can't use IE64 in a 32bit OS...

  You're either running a 32-bit operating system or a 64-bit operating system,
and Internet Explorer will be constructed to work with that. I'm pretty sure
you can't independently decide to run a 32-bit IE on a 64-bit Operating System.
Let's see what the masses say.

Hi folks, is there somebody who knows how I can change from internet
explorer8 64 bit to a standard internet explorer8? Moreover, where do I can
read if the internet explorer8 is either 64 bit or standard?
    Thank you,
    Berhane
