Well, it works for me in certain situations, but it is sooo overly complex that doing simple edits using the synth rack view is really a pain. You never know what modulator or envelope is being routed to what component, and their are 7 of them. Usually I use pentagon for that sort of thing. It has all sorts of problems. Besides what you've pointed out, if you customize instrument sounds, it often won't retain those customizations when you reload a project. If you'd like arpeggiated/rhythmic instrument sounds, I suggest that you use Rapture. There is better CT support, and there are lots of expansion packs available for increasing its library of sounds.
