In general, I don't suggest that people use Z3ta. It has all sorts of
problems. 

 

Besides what you've pointed out, if you customize instrument sounds, it
often won't retain those customizations when you reload a project.

 

If you'd like arpeggiated/rhythmic instrument sounds, I suggest that you
use Rapture. There is better CT support, and there are lots of expansion
packs available for increasing its library of sounds.
