Sonar's Help file has some information, but it doesn't specifically say which compressor is best for this. And, where would I route the Voice Track to trigger the side chaining input? I've searched in the Inputs dropdown menu, and the only thing I can find is my ASIO Inputs which go to the inputs on my MOTU 896HD. Same thing with the Outputs Dropdown Menu. What do I do next? -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Smart Sent: Saturday, February 12, 2011 8:41 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Accessible Plugins for Sidechain Compression (Ducking) the voice track triggers the compressor, which then acts on the music track. I can't put it any more succinctly. Does sonar's online help have anything on side gaining? Or, what about in the Sonitus Compressor's help file? Chris PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
