I know of and service 5, but most are even worse than this running
mainframes, minicomputers and midrange and most of their individual stations
are serial or ethernet video data terminals rather than PCs. I just recabled
some damaged twinaxial at a bank that is one of the more well known names,
they use a large sized AS/400 midrange with all VDTs except for a couple of
task-related RS6000 machines running AIX and 105 of the total are PCs with
things like Win 98se and 5250 emulator cards so that they can access the
internet and still function as an ASCII or ANSI VDT. Heck one larger
corporation that I do work for still has VAX functional.
