I haven't been following this very closely, but something just caught my
attention. When I was running McAfee something similar happened to me. This
was a couple of years ago, but as best I recall someone told me to download a
free app called "solo" ( I think) which I did and was successful in removing
the trojan. Needless to say McAfee was soon removed also.

Is the restore folder still there with the trojan in that?
I can't FIND that restore folder. I've run the search and it comes up
blank. I've hunted for it manually and can't see it anywhere. The only place
I've even seen it (for a nanosecond) is when McAfee runs through it and shows
it on the files it's scanning.
