I haven't been following this very closely, but something just caught my attention. When I was running McAfee something similar happened to me. This was a couple of years ago, but as best I recall someone told me to download a free app called "solo" ( I think) which I did and was successful in removing the trojan. Needless to say McAfee was soon removed also. ----- Original Message ----- From: Madrachod@xxxxxxx To: computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 8:45 PM Subject: [CTS] Re: shutting off write protect In a message dated 2/2/2005 7:49:12 P.M. I've hunted for it manually and can't see it anywhere. The only place I've even seen it (for a nanosecond) is when McAfee runs through it and shows it on the files it's scanning. Dale
