I copied and pasted that little "bit" of information. It's direct from
the readme file.
Just for the record, 256 bits translate into
1.1579208923731619542357098500869e+77 colors. Somehow I don't think in
100 years that we'll have video cards that will do that. lol

Not sure if 256 bit depth is actually possible at 640x480 but then I'm not an electronics engineer that designs video cards (although I play one on TV)
