I don't know about the others, but WMM won't even import a .mov file, let alone
convert it to anything.

I'm still looking for decent freeware (or really cheap shareware) to convert
my camera's .mov's to something that doesn't force me to use QT codecs.

A special easter-egg for you: Software for free

On Easter Sunday, you'll find Sceneo Vcopy here on sceneo.tv as
freeware download. With this software you convert your videos automatically in
several formats, based on a high-quality MPEG2-Codec. The right thing for
Easter holidays! ;-)
So check back at Easter Sunday and have a good time. It's only
available here on sceneo.tv.
