Well................ as far as the optical drives, I can somewhat see where you're going with this. :-) I have been known to copy cd/dvd's. As far as the hard drives, it all depends on what I'm doing. Everything isn't going full bore 100% of the time mind you, but the hard drives are spinning all the time.
