I'm not sure what this does.  Maybe just stores a UCS that corresponds 
to every entity?

Looking at the DXF spec, there is no (documented) facility for keeping 
any UCS ID in an entity.

In rhizopod, I think everything should be stored in WCS, so the 
connectors have to do as little calculation as possible to get the 
data (e.g. "the grep litmus test".)
