No, you would have one "xref/" directory and each xref'd drawing would=20 have one symlink in that directory. Each xref entity would point to=20 a subdirectory in the "xref/" directory. Two xref entities could=20 point to one xref drawing. I'm actually going against what I just posted now. The "attach/"=20 directory would require every xref and image entity to be modified=20 when you want to package a drawing, but using an xref/ directory=20 means only the links need to be deref'd and that can be done natively=20 by tar.
