hi, just looking for some confirmation. I was ready to depart when the airport
told me to hold short due to traffic, I acknowledged this and told Mike to wait
a minute when he asked for takeoff clearance confirmation agaim. After a while
Mike said we already had takeoff clearance, so I assumed it would be fine, but
when I took off he did not contact the controller even though we were at 3000
feet by that point and when I forced him to do so manually by saying contact
controller he asked for the airport to track our flight with flight following.
Was the problem just that I hadn't received takeoff clearance when I took
