Hello Ron,

The way to resolve the 747 sound issue, is to install a better sound set.
Simply go to the IYP Resource Center:

and download from the link entitled:

Realistic General Electric CF6-80C2B5F power plant for Boeing 747-400
aircraft. Easy installation... just read the README.TXT file.
