Hi. Awesome discussion. Something I've waited for in ages. :) I would only get a Xbox to get the accessible website. I have very limited access to sighted assistance. My sighted friend who lives nearby works at the night and sleep the whole day, so I don't see him much. I would love to buy my own games from an accessible web-store, chat with people and do all these things. When it comes to the device itself, I think I'll stick with my ps3. I use it for playing blueray discs, dvds, a bit music and I really like the easy interface. So if I'll get a Xbox in the future, I'll not sell my ps3. The Xbox controler just feels strange in my hands, but I'm sure I can get used to it. The bad thing is that I don't have that much time to play console games as I want. If I had the time, I would sit there and play online the whole day. :) As the ps3 lags on accessibility, I haven't just got time to figure out how to invite people, accept invitations and all that stuff yet. Why? Because I need sighted assistance to add my friends. Sometimes I only have sighted assistance one time each month, and other times the people who visit me don't know how to navigate a console which makes things even more difficult. So for these reasons I might get a xbox, but I also wanna see what Sony and Microsoft brings in the future. Again, I really like this discution. Thanks for bringing this up.
