I am in Canada and do not have a Rehab counselor or anything like that. I also can not afford to send it to hw.

Hi Jessica this is Roanna Bacchus. If you are a client with the Vocational Rehabilitation Program in your state, they should pay for the repairs on your BRAILLENote. I would try asking your Rehab counselor about this. Try calling Humanware and see what they can recommend too.
