There is only one way this could have happened. It's called not washing your 
hands enough. Yes, displays are delecate in some cases, and this is one of 
those cases. My display on my old apex only broke because I dropped the 
machine, and the x things came up. The display was still good after 4 years 
though, and now my friend is using the device. The display still works, but Ow 
x things came back. I think he dropped it as well. Anyway, I also remember how 
teachers used to stress the fact that we had to wash our hands.
Another thing that may be causing this is dust. Yes, dust also messes things 
up, and so if you live in that kind of environment, well... Just be careful.
