Hi Richard. It should use computer braille what so ever in keymail. Now I will not play the guessing game with you here. In uk braille it is space with u and after that 2-3-4-6. I don't know the us one. Please follow these. Go to keymail. Go to send an email. At the "send to:" press space with h. It will tel you what is the at sign code. What ever braille code you have it will change. If I have uk it will say the uk one. If I have the us one it will change to us. Please let me know if these worked. Thanks

Also I have found the grade two translator to be at best unreliable. For example if I have the unit set to grade two and I am just using it as a terminal for a ios display sometimes grade 2 works reasonabley well other times some contractions are translated and others aren't. I'm a very new apple user but kind of convinced that using this as a display and leyboard for an i-pad or i-touch is the way to go rather than praying for the next update or better yet a new braille note that noone can afford unless rehab buys it.
