Yes you can change where recordings go. From the main menu, press m to get into the media menu, then press s for set up options. It's the first option in there.
Please go check out my website: http://blindnesseraserblog.wordpress.com which has lots of different info on a number of topics for blind and visually impaired people and which I have recently redone. Also please check out my low traffic mailing list: //freelists.org/list/erasingblindness where we can talk about anything related to blindness. Thank you.

Yes your right there isn't. Remember, that wav files are vary large, so you can convert them to mp3 which might save some space on the computer.

Can I suggest that after each class you record you go into file manager and move the memo you have recorded from the flash drive into a folder you can create on an sd card. At the point of recording I don't think there's an option to record on to the sd card so the process I've suggested is the one to opt for.

Hi Christopher and all! I actually have an olympus that my college lend me but it does not talk though. The reason I would like to record with my BN is because I would like to have something that gives me dates and the time of the recording since whatever the professor says is very important. And I'm not going to type while recording guys. But I don't know how to check if I have enough memory. Actually, someone suggested me to record in an SD card, but I don't know how to do that guys. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks so much and God blesss!

I'd get one of the elimpus moddles. They record in mp3 which do much better. Think you can find them on either ebay or amazon or go to the elimpus site directly. 99.99 percent of the menus are spoken in these recorders, and i think that might be best.

The bn only records in wave so even if you turn the quality all the way down you're files would be huge and you would run out of space. You should get a recorder that can record a smaller file like MP3.

Hi everyone! How are you all? Happy New Year All! I just wanted to ask you, is it possible to record College classes with the BN? If so, how do I do that? I'm just wondering since my class starts this Thursday. In fact, I don't know how much memory my BN has, and I'm actually going to be recording a lot of classes! Actually, someone suggested me to lower the quality of the recording, and to record in an SD card so that i cn rduce the file size, but I really don't know how to do that. I will really appreciate it a lot, if you can help me with this! I actually have skype! Hope to hear form you soon. Thanks so much and God bless!
