But why unsubscribe? It is just an annoyance. Ok, for Jaws users, it maybe be an issue, but all you do is shut down Jaws with insert fbled and then spacebaar, and start it up again with altogether-control-just. For any other devices such as the brailleNote, it really is just an annoyance. You have to hit that reset button all day anyway, so what difference? Now, if this crash code didn't just make you reset, and instead deleted mass amounts of files like a warm would do, then, I'd unsubscribe in an instant. However, this is not the case, and therefore it is merely an annoyance. Of course, this annoyance is getting larger and larger with every spam message that is sent, but as somebody stated, the mods are doing all they can, and therefore this is not entirely under their control. This is still a great list, and no matter what happens, I'm going to stay subscribed. True, my unit crashes when I read the messages on it, but I mainly use braille most of the day, and the rest of the day, I use either NVDA with Eloquence which doesn't crash, or an iOS device. Now, what I have just said about NVDA and eloquence proves that eloquence can be upgraded to not crash, and that HW is more than capable of doing just that, so I'd blame them more for the crashes then I would the spammer, but then again, the spammer is the one throwing a switch which would have otherwise been dormant for much longer... That's all I have to say on this matter. ----- Original Message ----- From: David Bartling <dbartling714@xxxxxxxxx> To: tombehler@xxxxxxxxx Date: Thursday, November 7, 2013 5:36 Subject: [BNU] Re: Recently Sent Messages > > > Hi > I agree, this is bad, very bad and the mods are doing all they can but > if he wants to, he can just come back.
