Just a note on JAWS, while I am not excusing this inappropriate behaviour at
all, I am only saying the following for informational purposes:
JAWS 14 with eloquence does not crash on my windows 7 laptop. However, it
might for other users and therefore I cannot speak for them, so whoever is
doing this, please stop this rubbish. It's one thing to have an opinion on
the BrailleNote and if you don't like it, that is your decision, but in my
opinion, like other users feel here, there is no need for those codes and
all that swearing. One thing to mention is that these messages are archived
and I don't think it is appropriate for anyone to come across that on the
web through a search or something. I hope I am helping others by raising
this important point. It does not look good on this list.
I personally have no problem with users saying publically that they do not
like the BrailleNote for a reason, but as long as they do it in a reasonable
manner, it's fine for them to voice their opinions.
Alana

The reason crash code spam is so bad and uncalled for is because not
everyone is using a Braillenote to read the Braillenote list. People using
JAWS might end up needing sighted assistance! So some machines are Eloquence
only, and this is why crash codes are just as offensive as the swearing.
