Every time I dranksoda. I tried everything to avoid this happening, but I couldn't
do anything. The first few times it was right on the keyboard. This makes a few buttons annoyingly slow to move, but that's all.
Next few times, it was on the display. Thankfuly I escaped with only one dot effected. After that I firmly resolved to keep my BN closed around soda. But still soda would spill on the casesomehow. A hundred million times it happened. Thankfuly nothing
got through the case though. I guess it's the leather. I had a can of soda once and knew I wouldn't spill it for sure. But then, somehow, the edge of a railing pierced it and soda litterally spilled all over my BN. And it was completely fine! So keep your BN case shut around drinks, and it'll be fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: rajmund <brajmund2000@xxxxxxxxx To: johnniejduran@xxxxxxxxx, braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Fri, 15 Nov 2013 19:49:04 +0100 Subject: [BNU] Re: Braille Display QuestionWait! It should of started right there. I think it is nothing to
do with your lunch. I can only say use speech or try water. It will not be worse than already what it is. ----- Original Message ----- From: johnnie Jean duran <johnniejduran@xxxxxxxxx To: Braille Note User List <braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Fri, 15 Nov 2013 12:02:53 -0700 Subject: [BNU] Braille Display Question Hi y'all, So, yesterday, at lunch, I was eating when I accidentally spilt sodaon myself. As far as I was aware of, the braillenote did not get
wet, just me. I clean the mess up, and attended the rest of my classes without any problems. When I got home, my braillenote's braille display seemed weird. 6 of my cells were covered with lower looking xxxxxx. I tried resetting, exercising my braille display, and things like that, but the dots remained there. This makes it very difficult for me to read, and I am aware that I will have to send it in. How much does it cost per cell to get fixed, and, is there anyway I can make this accessible until I send it in (without using speech)? Help is always appreciated!
